My Wii Menu as of September 2nd, 2007

[23/1/08 EDIT] PLEASE READ THIS Okay, guys, here's the deal: I won't respond to your comments if you ask me questions that are in this description. Simple as that. Save us all some time, okay? Here's a video of my Nintendo Wii menu screen, recorded using WinTV on September 2nd, 2007. There was no sound, so I added "What Would Brian Boitano Do?" from South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. Oddly enough, three of the four tunes I have that fit the video well enough were from one of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's productions. Here's a list of everything, in case you missed any stuff: SCREEN ONE -Disk Channel (unmovable): The game I had in was WWE Day of Reckoning 2, hence the Nintendo GameCube logo! -Wii Shop Channel: It's slow, but the Virtual Console is amazing. -Mii Channel: I'm one of those Wii owners who can't spend hours here, like so many people seem able to. -Internet Channel: You may ask the point of this, since I have the internet on my laptop and DS already and they're not annoying to use. Here's why I got it: because it was free! -Everybody Votes Channel: Today's important question- How do you like your orange juice? With bits/No bits. Vital, I'm sure. I voted No bits, btw. -Forecast Channel: I don't actually even live in the same county as Sheffield, but it's the nearest major city. -News Channel: As you can see, I don't use this very often. -Photo Channel: I have never used this, even once. (The rest of the Channels are VC games) -Nintendo 64: Super Mario 64 (if you care remotely about gaming, you need this game) -N64: Paper Mario (a great Mario RPG, well worth buying) -Mega Drive: Streets of Rage (awesome retro action) -MD: Streets of Rage II (even better than the first) SCREEN TWO -N64: Mario Kart 64 (not one of my favourites, I think Double Dash!! and DS have made me expect unlockables from Mario Kart games. Still far better than Super Circuit, though) -MD: Gunstar Heroes (awesome game, very fun) -Nintendo Entertainment System: Kirby's Adventure (one of the best games I downloaded via VC, you owe it to yourself to play this brilliant thing and finish it 100%) -NES: Mega Man (hard as nails, but brilliant fun) -Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Donkey Kong Country (I had this on Game Boy Color, but the sound and resolution here make this a much better experience. Definitely worth a purchase) -SNES: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (also fun, tougher than the first) -SNES: F-Zero (challenging, but fun for one player) -N64: F-Zero X (where F-Zero moved from "fun" to "amazing", where it remains today, to my liking) -Turbo Grafx16: Bomberman '93 (the direct prequel to Mega Bomberman/Bomberman '94, one of my all-time favourite games) -NES: Metroid (hard as nails but a classic title) -N64: Lylat Wars (a great game, but I feel like the controls haven't stood the test of time so well) -MD: Dynamite Headdy (a classic MD game I wanted so badly years ago- and now I have it! Very fun and a decent challenge) SCREEN THREE -SNES: Super Probotector: Alien Rebels (or Contra, if you like. Incredibly hard and so much fun) -NES: Mach Rider (a unique game that's pretty fun and has some catchy music) -NES: Kid Icarus (another challenging game from the mind behind Metroid) -NES: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (a perhaps-slightly-unfairly-challenging NES game, but a nice bit of fun) -TG16: Dungeon Explorer (pretty decent game, better with friends, though) -MD: ToeJam & Earl (far-too-slow-paced game that's seriously hampered by as much, despite having the promise of a good game at its heart) -MD: Columns (one of my favourite puzzle games, only on the end here because I later bought Sega Mega Drive Collection on PS2. I may remove Columns from my Wii to clear some space) So, that's the lot- feel free to comment on the VC games I have or video reply with your own Wii Menu!
