In English: Thunderbirds is one of my absolute favourites when it comes to TV series. It's a puppet-animation, with lots of pyro-tec involved. There is a lot of detail in the work, and as an engineer I'm really amused by some of the solutions to technical problems. The series has gained cult status, and when you see it, you'll understand why. The plots are based around a secret group (International Rescues) with really hi-tec vehicles and equipment taking all kinds of hefty assignments. Everything has this nostalgic space-look that was typical for the sixties. Thunderbirds, Guardianes del espacio, cuenta una historia futurista. Estamos en el siglo XXI y Jeff Tracy, un ex-astronauta, amasa una gran fortuna y decide que debe usarla en beneficio de otros. Por eso crea Rescate Internacional, un servicio de emergencia equipado con vehículos que actúan en situaciones críticas tanto en tierra y mar como en el aire o el espacio. Jeff forma un enorme equipo de logística e inteligencia que responde las llamadas de auxilio alrededor del mundo y más allá también, cuidando sus secretos de los enemigos. Los hijos del propio Jeff se ofrecen para operar como agentes; mientras que Harim "Cerebro" Hackenbaker es el ingeniero del equipo; Kyrano, amigo de Jeff y su sobrina Tin Tin también son parte del staff.
